Abstract
Thin conducting films of Cs- and Rb-(DCNQI)2 radical anion salts were investigated by momentum resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. The orde red stacks of these systems exhibit a charge density distribution with a periodicity which is twice the lattice constant in the stacking dir ection. The electronic structure of these one-dimensional systems seem s to be dimerized within the (interaction) time scale of our experimen ts by on- and inter-site correlations, resembling Mott-like insulators .
