Abstract
The pattern of food consumption of people in Dangamvura, Mutare, was s tudied during January, May and August 1989. Most of the foods were con sumed regularly throughout the year. Only four non-cultivated leafy ve getables and one insect were used by this community. The types of food s consumed were similar to those reported as being used in Mutambara.4
