Abstract
Horizontally polarized omnidirectional characteristics in planes of ar rays have been achieved with a 32 element circular array. The element incorporated is a printed circuit tapered slot radiator in a stripline configuration. This array was excited in cophase condition and was ev aluated over the 6-18-GHz frequency band. It was observed that the omn i variation in the horizontal plane is within +/- 3 dB over the freque ncy band.
