B. Sarkar et al., STUDIES ON THE GROUND-STATE COMPLEX BETWEEN RIBOFLAVIN AND SODIUM-AZIDE BY FLUOROMETRIC AND ABSORPTION METHODS, Journal of chemical research. Synopses, (3), 1992, pp. 106-107
Formation of a ground-state complex between riboflavin and sodium azid
e has been established; the equilibrium constant for formation of the
complex is determined to be 3.42 dm3 mol-1 from a study of riboflavin
fluorescence quenching by sodium azide at various solvent viscosities
but 0.47 dm3 mol-1 by use of the Benesi-Hildebrand method of absorptio
n studies.
