To create a multisensor system for quantitative determination of heavy
metal cations (Cu2+, Pb2+, Cd2+, and Zn2+) in the 10(-7)-10(-4) M con
centration range and inorganic anions (Cl-, F-, and SO42-) in aqueous
solutions, measurements were carried out using a multisensor system ba
sed on chalcogenide glass electrodes. A feasibility of various mathema
tical methods for processing complex sensor signals is considered.
