Abstract
The proposed lining of the All-American Canal is a matter of profound concern in Mexico. The groundwater recharge will be significantly redu ced affecting 121 wells in Mexico and more than 33,000 acres of farmla nd. The damages are estimated at more than $80 million per year. Mexic o is urged to take a strong position opposing the lining project.
