THEORY OF ELECTROREFLECTANCE AND PHOTOREFLECTANCE OF SEMICONDUCTORS

The recent development of theoretical models for electroreflectance is reviewed and a detailed discussion of the evaluation of Airy function s in the upper complex plane given. Asymptotic series are given for th e linear combinations of Airy functions and their derivatives needed i n the theory of both direct allowed and direct forbidden transitions i n the intermediate field case, and some examples of recent fits to exp erimental data in the literature are discussed.
