Abstract
The Rhizobium spp. isolated from the root nodules of two leguminous tr ees (Butea monosperma and Pterocarpus marsupium) and two pulses (Vigna radiata and Lens culinaris) produced abscisic acid in culture from so dium acetate. Probably, bioproduction of abscisic acid by Rhizobium sp p. is a new report.
