Two cases of adenomatoid tumor of the uterus of unusually large size a
re reported. One was 12 cm, the other 13 cm in diameter and one was lo
cated in the lateral wall and the other in the posterior wall of the u
terus. Both were an unusually large or giant variant of adenomatoid tu
mor of the uterus. The cystic macroscopical and microscopical pattern
is characteristic of giant adenomatoid tumors. The origin of these neo
plasms is discussed.
