Abstract
The propagation of small amplitude nonlinear waves in H II regions is considered. It is shown that for the observed scales of the velocity i rregularities in H II regions, the effects of nonlinearity are signifi cant only for sufficiently long-wavelength disturbances. Arguments are given in favor of sizeable influence of dissipation on the structure function.
