Abstract
The effect of glucan, a yeast product isolated from Saccharomyces cere visiae, on the antibody production to the bovine serum albumin and tet anus toxoid was investigated in miniature pigs. A significant stimulat ion of the immune response to both antigens differing in their thymus dependency was demonstrated during three weeks after the glucan applic ation, by ELISA, in comparison to the untreated controls.
