Abstract
This article discusses the bacteriology, virology, and clinical presen tation of community-acquired pneumonia in pregnant women. In addition to treatment options, the effect of pneumonia on pregnancy outcome is presented. The epidemiology, clinical presentation, screening, and tre atment for tuberculosis complicating pregnancy is also addressed.
