L. Malkinski et T. Kulik, CORRELATION BETWEEN BARKHAUSEN NOISE AND COERCIVITY IN AMORPHOUS AND NANOCRYSTALLINE FE-CU-NB-SI-B ALLOYS, Acta Physica Polonica. A, 91(2), 1997, pp. 435-438
Samples of amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys were prepared by prope
r annealing of the metallic glasses: Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 and Fe73.5Cu
1Nb3Si17.5B5. Magnetic hardening of the alloys at the onset of crystal
lization was studied by the two independent techniques, i.e. measureme
nts of the magnetization hysteresis loops and Barkhausen effect. A goo
d correlation between the coercivity and the maximum power of the Bark
hausen noise has been found in these two compositions of the alloys.
