Abstract
One sample of "Minas padrao" cheese produced in small scale in a farm of Itatiaicu, Minas Gerais, was responsable for a food poisoning outbr eak envolving seven persons in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. T he isolated microrganism was a type B enterotoxigenic S. aureus strain with a plate count CFU of 2,0 x 10 7CFU/g.
