Abstract
A simple and promising numerical model is developed for simultaneous h eat and mass transfer in smooth falling-film absorption. The systems o f LiCl-H2O and LiBr-H2O are solved because they are the most popularly used materials in absorption heat pumps and chillers. The results are in good agreement with those of complicated formulations in the liter ature and the experimental data.
