Abstract
The purpose of this article is to extend our investigation to periodic orbits of nonlinear dynamical systems with many degrees of freedom. T he method of generalized averaging and the indicatrix method are devel oped. An example is studied to illustrate our techniques. The analytic al expressions are in good agreement with numerical results computed b y the indicatrix method for this example.
