Abstract
The reaction of o-dianisidine and aromatic aldehydes was adapted to an air-segmented continuous-flow analysis system. Stannic chloride was u sed as the catalyst. Figures of merit of the automated method (e.g., s ensitivity, limits of detection, and accuracy) are reported for 13 aro matic aldehydes. The results of selectivity and interference studies a re also reported.
