Abstract
A flow-injection method is proposed for the simultaneous determination of o- and p-nitrophenol. It is based on formation and extraction of i on pairs using tetrabutylammonium as counter ion at pH 7.4 and diode-a rray spectrophotometric detection at 260 and 410 nm for o- and p-nitro phenol, respectively. The calibration graphs were linear from 0.1 to 1 2 mg l-1, the relative standard deviation (n = 8) at 6 mg l-1 was 0.15 % for both o- and p-nitrophenol and the detection limits were 0.03 mg l-1.
