Abstract
Despite major advances in medical care of coronary artery disease that have reduced the death rate in men, the disease continues to kill wom en in increasing numbers. Drs Das and Banka examine gender-based diffe rences in risks, attitudes, management, and preventive strategies that are contributing to or helping to ameliorate this situation.
