Techniques for storing the mosquito pathogenic fungus, Lagenidium, wer
e evaluated. A technique, which involves storage of fungal mycelia in
sterile distilled water of pH 6-7 with 0.0025 M glucose at 30-35-degre
es-C, was found to be useful. When stored in this manner the fungus re
tained it's larvicidal activity for 190 days.
