Abstract
The paper puts forward several components of human resource management (HRM) training for future managers in India. Rationale for future tra ining needs in the context of globalization and the reasons for resist ance to altering the existing training programmes are discussed. The n eed for development of indigenous OB (organisational behaviour) theori es and HRM technology for training purposes is emphasized. A three-tle r approach to HRM training is outlined.
