Abstract
A method is proposed for determining industrial explosive flammability , in which a closed steel tube 38 mm in diameter with an internal volu me of 1 liter is used. The flammability is characterized as the minimu m mass of black powder that will ignite the explosive charge. Experime nts are reported for some industrial explosives based on granulated am monium nitrate.
