A case of traumatic bladder eventration in a cat is presented. The eve
ntration was through the pelvic diphragma dorsal of the left os ilium.
The intrapelvic part of the bladder was connected to fibrotic tissue,
which developed after the pelvic fractures and caused coprostasis. Di
agnosis was based on punction and retrograde filling of the bladder wi
th a contrast medium. Surgical intervention included dorsal incision a
nd preparation of the bladder, thereafter a laparatomy was performed a
nd the bladder fixed in the abdominal cavity, resulting in healing.
