Normal human lymphocyte was used as standard diploid cell, acridine or
ange was used as fluorescence probe for DNA in cell, and DNA ploidy of
six cases of human breast tumor was analyzed by the system of Hadamar
d transform microscopic image analysis, Some parameters were employed
to evaluate tumor malignancy, the results are concordant with patholog
ical diagnosis, this indicates that the above instrument may be applie
d in diagnostic and prognostic study on human breast cancer, The resul
ts also show that significant positive correlation exists between tumo
r cell nuclear DNA ploidy and its area (pixels).
