Abstract
This paper reports the synthesis and NMR studies oi a novel tweezer mo lecule (25,8S)-2-(8-naphthoyl oxymethyl)-8-(2-naphthoyl aminomethyl)-1 ,5,9-triazabicyclo[4.4.0] dec-5-ene chloride. The complexation effect of the tweezer molecule and p-nitrobenzoate salts by means of H-1 NMR shows that they are self-associated by hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interaction and arene-arene sandwich stacking interaction.
