Abstract
Total daily iodine intake of 100 women from ten different regions, liv ing in Bombay, ranged from 211-301 mcg. Nearly 15.3-42.0% of iodine wa s contributed by the daily salt intake. lodine losses during cooking r anged from 37.4-69.7%.
