TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF MOLAR EXCESS VOLUMES FOR THE DIMETHYL-SULFOXIDE PLUS THIOPHENE SYSTEM AND THERMAL-EXPANSION COEFFICIENTS BETWEEN 293.15 AND 313.15 K
Sb. Aznarez et al., TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENCE OF MOLAR EXCESS VOLUMES FOR THE DIMETHYL-SULFOXIDE PLUS THIOPHENE SYSTEM AND THERMAL-EXPANSION COEFFICIENTS BETWEEN 293.15 AND 313.15 K, Journal of chemical and engineering data, 38(2), 1993, pp. 270-273
Densities were measured with a vibrating-tube densimeter for binary mi
xtures of dimethyl sulfoxide + thiophene at temperatures from 293.15 t
o 313.15 K as a function of composition. Molar excess volumes V(E) for
the mixtures, determined from the density data, are negative and beco
me more negative with an increase in temperature. The coefficients of
thermal expansion were also evaluated from the temperature dependence
of the density.
