Abstract
The electrical conductivities for dilute solutions of salicylic acid i n binary mixtures of N,N-dimethylformamide, acetone, tetrahydrofuran, methanol, ethanol, and 1-propanol with water have been measured at 298 .15 K. The data were analyzed with the Lee-Wheaton conductance equatio n for the derivation of thermodynamic dissociation constants and limit ing molar conductivities. The results were compared with those in the literature pertaining to analogous media, mostly derived potentiometri cally.
