Abstract
The solubility of 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-dinitrobutane (DMNB) in acetone, ac etonitrile, benzene, cyclohexanone, N,N-dimethylformamide, dimethyl su lfoxide, 1,4-dioxane, 2-ethoxyethanol, ethyl acetate, hexane, methanol , methyl ethyl ketone, tetrahydrofuran, toluene, and water at 5, 15, 2 5, and 35-degrees-C has been determined. The concentration of DMNB was measured by capillary gas chromatography with electron capture detect ion. The relative standard deviation of the measurements was between a bout 1% and 7%.
