Abstract
The thermodynamics of the adsorption of blood plasma proteins (human s erum albumin and gamma-immunoglobulin) on polymeric filter elements of melamine resin were investigated. The properties were determined by t he standard methods of equilibrium thermodynamics. The sorption of pro teins is accompanied by a large increase in the entropy of the system.
