Abstract
Extraction of nitrates of trivalent rare earths of the yttrium subgrou p and Y(III) from multicomponent solutions by tri-n-butylphosphate at 298.15 K and pH 2 is studied. Physicochemical and mathematical models describing the distribution and mutual influence of the lanthanides (S m-Lu) and Y(III) in multicomponent solutions as a function of the tota l aqueous concentration of rare earths and concentrate compositions ar e presented.
