G. Kennedy et J. Stpierre, NAA WITH THE IMPROVED RELATIVE METHOD AND THE INTERACTIVE COMPUTER-PROGRAM EPAA, Journal of radioanalytical and nuclear chemistry, 169(2), 1993, pp. 471-481
The program EPAA has been written to perform neutron activation analys
is calculations on a personal computer. It reads gamma-ray spectra fro
m disk, calculates peak areas using interactive computer graphics, cor
rects interferences, and calculates the concentrations of the elements
chosen by the user with the improved relative standardization method.
This method is suitable for use with reactors with reproducible neutr
on fluxes. Calibrations are performed for all elements in standard cou
nting geometries and are used for subsequent analyses over a long peri
od of time.
