Abstract
Recommendations for broad and generic predoctoral education and traini ng and postdoctoral specialization for practice have been made by psyc hology education and training conference groups since 1949. The number of postdoctoral education and training offerings has grown steadily o ver the succeeding decades. Selected data on postdoctoral education an d training are presented in this article for a sample of 388 current p ostdoctoral education and training sites.
