Abstract
We investigate Brans-Dicke vacuum solutions in the presence of a cosmo logical constant LAMBDA from the point of view of dynamical system the ory. Assuming a Friedmann-Robertson-Walker metric we plot the phase di agrams corresponding to all values of omega. The analysis of the diagr ams allows us to determine several physical properties of the solution s as well as their global dynamical behaviour.
