DISTRIBUTED FEEDBACK DYE-LASER - GENERATION OF OPTICAL PULSES UP TO 74 PS

In this work we report a distributed feedback dye laser, whose working characteristics do not require of a mirror cavity, therefore producin g a compact set up. This system has the ability of tuning the emission wavelength within a range that depends on the used dye and obtain pul ses between twenty and hundred times less than the pump pulse, therefo re producing pulses in the picosecond regime.
