Abstract
For the specific parameters of a system characterized by a two-barrier potential energy profile due to the presence of structural forces, ti me dependences of the singlet and doublet concentrations have been cal culated. It is shown that, in connection with specific features of the redistribution of doublets between the secondary and primary potentia l wells, peptization of such systems cannot be accomplished by methods based on lowering the electrolyte concentration or introducing an ion ic surface-active charger. A method is recommended for complete peptiz ation of such systems with successive introduction of an indifferent e lectrolyte and then the surface-active charger.
