Abstract
Application of a liquid film on a moving thin cylindrical filament was investigated, An equation for the profile of the film was derived wit h consideration of the disjoining pressure in the absence of gravitati on. The film thickness vs. filament velocity curve was obtained. The t heoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental measure ments.
