Abstract
The recirculation model is one of the most appropriate models to descr ibe the phenomenon of longitudinal mixing in continuous flow multistag e chemical equipment such as mechanically stirred column reactors. In this paper the frequency function of the multistage system with open b oundaries is given. The recirculation between the perfectly mixed stag es was taken into account. The amplitude ratio and the phase shift bet ween the output and input signals are plotted in the Bode diagram.
