Abstract
A prototype of an electromagnetic calorimeter is designed using a tung sten converter and silicon detectors as the recording elements. Measur ements of the static characteristics of an experimental batch of Russi an silicon detectors are presented. The energy resolution of the calor imeter with a beam of electrons with a momentum of 26 Ge V/c is 17%, w hich is in good agreement with published data.
