Abstract
The picture seen by an operator looking at a nuclear emulsion in an op tical microscope is modeled by the Monte Carlo method. The picture mod eled adequately reflects the, real image of an exposed emulsion layer, which allows computer modeling to be used to estimate the maximum loa d of a controllable emulsion track detector.
