Abstract
The constant composition crystal growth method is used to study crysta llization process, keeping constant: temperature, pH, concentrations, ionic strength. The effect of humic compounds on the growth kinetics o f Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate (DCPD) have been studied at several co ncentrations. The inhibitory effect is discussed. The fit of the Langm uir adsorption to experimental data supports a mechanism of inhibition at the active crystal growth sites of DCPD.
