Abstract
A novel stuffing algorithm is presented providing very low waiting tim e jitter. This algorithm is suitable for all stuffing methods. Further more, it is universally applicable to all types of multiplex signals a nd is compatible with existing equipment Simulations demonstrate the s uperiority of this algorithm when compared with more traditional algor ithms including the threshold modulation.
