Abstract
It is theoretically shown that for La2(Cu1-mZnm)O4 nonmagnetic impurit ies stabilize the RVB state with respect to the Neel state in the regi on 0.376 < m <0.5. Our results are consistent with experimental result s for 0.25 < m < 0.41.
