Abstract
Thirty-one different bioactive bis-tetrahydrofuran gamma-lactone aceto genins have been isolated, so far, from the Annonaceae. Two characteri stic adjacent and nonadjacent bis-tetrahydrofuran systems were observe d in this group. The classification and structural revisions for some compounds are reported.
