Abstract
Angularine, rosmarinine and 12-O-acetylrosmarine, together with their N-oxides were isolated from epigeal parts of S. syringifolius, while S . hadiensis similarly afforded hadiensine, 12-O-acetylhadiensine, rosm arinine and 12-O-acetylrosmarinine together with their N-oxides. In bo th cases the N-oxides were predominant.
