Cyclodextrins as chiral stationary phases (CSP) are useful for chromat
ographic separations of racemic analytes, which are able for enantiose
lective interactions with the CSP. Studies in this work are reported a
nalytical separations of various benzo-1,4-diazepines and the influenc
e of temperature on the retention. The fact of ''enantiomerization'' o
f oxazepam by the chromatographic process on a beta-cyclodextrin colum
n is described.
