Abstract
The results of high temperature scratch tests on iron-, nickel-and cob alt-based alloys with and without hard phases are presented and discus sed. These tests as well as microscopical investigations render inform ation on the influence of elevated temperatures on abrasive wear. The scratch tests give information on which are the acting submechanisms o f abrasion.
