Abstract
Radiolabeled Technetium sulfur colloid metered dose inhalation aerosol (MDI) suitable to evaluate pulmonary deposition from inhalation devic es has been developed by using a lyophilization process to prepare the radiolabeled material for aerosolization. The reproducibility of the manufacturing process was demonstrated by characterizing the aerosol p erformance with respect to dose delivery, particle size, and valve del ivery.
