Abstract
on the basis of densitometry of photographic images of Comet P/Halley obtained in 0-0 cyanogen band emission in the near ultraviolet, the fi ne structure of its inner gaseous coma has been investigated. Three re gions of increased gas output (ejecta and jets), and also possible tra ces of four other jets, have been detected. The problem of the origin of cyanogen in Comet P/Halley is considered.
