An 11-year-old girl presented with acute, severe symptoms resembling T
olosa-Hunt syndrome. Response to corticosteroids was rapid and satisfa
ctory, but of short duration. Cranial magnetic resonance imaging demon
strated a supra- and parasellar mass and the abdominal ultrasound demo
nstrated a round tumor. Histopathologic study of the abdominal mass re
vealed Burkitt's lymphoma.
